Abstract:

A computing device is configured to capture accessibility information for remote technical support diagnostics. The computing device includes a computer display, a data storage device, and a communication interface. The computer display displays an application window for an application program. The data storage device stores an image and corresponding accessibility context information. The image is a screen shot of display content, including the application window, on the computer display. The accessibility context information describes an accessibility parameter associated with the application window depicted within the image. The communication interface transmits the image and the associated accessibility context information to a remote user in response to a request from the remote user.

Abstract:

Systems and methods using EMR and other directed energies emitted at surfaces, objects and body parts, to kill, neutralize, eliminate, remove or otherwise treat or influence objects, species, dirt, weeds, worms, pests, bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, other pathogens and other organic and inorganic matter from target surfaces are disclosed. One embodiment includes selecting an at least one first set of parameters of directed energy, wherein the at least one first set of parameters may include one or more of a wavelength, frequency, amplitude, duration, acceleration, deceleration, pulsation, and pulsation period; emitting the directed energy based on the selected at least one first set of parameters at a target surface; measuring in real-time the temperature of the target surface; and pausing the emitting of directed energy once a trigger occurs. This process may be repeated with different sets of parameters and directed energies and carried out in series or simultaneously.

An approach is provided that identifies stale questions in an online discussion site, such as a forum. A stale question is a question where an answer to the stale question is not detected as being posted to the online discussion site. The identified stale question is analyzed to determine a trigger post, with the trigger post being designed to instigate an answer to the question that is to be posted to the online discussion site by a community member. The trigger post is automatically generating and posted to the online discussion site.

An approach is provided that ingests question-answer pairs from an online discussion site into a question answering (QA) system by preprocessing the online discussion site prior to ingesting the data. The preprocessing of the online discussion site is performed by identifying stale questions posted to the online discussion site, analyzing the stale question to determine an appropriate trigger post, with the trigger post is designed to instigate an answer to the stale question, with the system automatically generating and posting the trigger post to the online discussion site.

Abstract:

Mechanisms are provided for identifying changes, within a corpus of information, to answers to questions provided within the corpus of information. A mapping of a question and a previously provided answer to the question in a question/answer data structure is generated. A transaction referencing the previously provided answer, and having an update to the previously provided answer, is received and correlated with the question/answer data structure, which is updated based on the transaction. A determination is made as to whether the strength of the mapping of the first question to the previously provided answer based on the update to the question/answer data structure has fallen equal to or below a predetermined threshold. In response to this being the case, a change to the previously provided answer is propagated throughout the corpus of information.
