Abstract:

A system and device for obtaining and reviewing patient data and ultrasound images from a patient such that the patient data and ultrasound images can be viewed simultaneously. The ultrasound images are obtained by an ultrasound system in real-time during a procedure carried out on the patient. The physiology workstation receives patient data as well as the ultrasound images and stores both the patient data and the ultrasound images within the physiological recording system. The ultrasound images and patient data are also communicated to a central data storage device where the ultrasound images and patient data are stored and can be accessed by a remotely located reviewing station. A display contained on the physiology workstation allows both the ultrasound images and the patient data to be viewed at the physiology workstation. Preferably, the patient data and the ultrasound images include common, time-based synchronization data obtained from a synchronization signal such that the ultrasound images and patient data can be time-synchronized during subsequent viewing after the completion of the procedure.

Abstract:

Systems and methods for displaying digitized waveform data on a pixilated screen are provided. Certain methods include retrieving waveform data that exists as a plurality of sequential samples in a buffer. A first sample is associated with a first point of a pixilated screen. A second sample that follows the first sample is associated with a second point of the screen. A boundary of a rectangular line segment connecting the points is determined. For each pixel of the pixilated screen that has any portion inside the boundary of the rectangular line segment, a number of subpixels within the pixel that have any portion inside the boundary of the rectangular line segment is determined and that number of subpixels is correlated with an intensity value that is then associated with the pixel. Waveform data is displayed by painting pixels of the screen with the associated intensity values.

Abstract:

A window assembly that can be opened and closed includes a transparent grid to prevent an operator from extending an arm through the opened window and into the path of a lift arm without impairing the vision of the operator. The window assembly may include more than one openable panes and/or one or more transparent stationary panes. The window may also include a sensor to sense if the window is compromised and may cause the lift arm vehicle to take a safety action if a compromise is detected.
