Chris Leben wins two fights in two weeks [UFC 116, July 3, 2010]. Leben scored a TKO over Aaron Simpson for his second win of 2010 and earned an unexpected co-main event slot two weeks later when Wanderlei Silva dropped out of a fight against Yoshihiro Akiyama due to injury. Leben was never one to
his UFC run, and as it happens in the fight game faced an opponent that just fought better and a bit smarter. There's still a lot of upside to him, and his time at Power MMA with the likes of Aaron Simpson, Michael Chandler, CB Dollaway and Miles Jury should only help him continue to grow and improve.
DePaul (11-9, 5-2 BIG EAST) opened up a 10-point advantage in the first half and led, 36-33, at halftime. The Blue Demons scored the first five points of the second half on a jumper by Rashaun Stimage and a three-pointer by Aaron Simpson forcing Seton Hall to take a time out.Coming out of the break,
The Blue Demons then came out strong in the second half. Stimage made a power move down low and Aaron Simpson drained a long 3-pointer, pushing the lead to 41-33 less than two minutes into the half. Stimage's short jumper gave DePaul a 43-33 lead with 17:54 left.
Billy Garrett Jr. made 13 of 13 free throws and finished with a season-high 20 points for DePaul (10-9, 4-2 Big East), which already has its most conference wins since the 2007-08 season. Aaron Simpson added a career-high 13 points.
Garrett hit a 3-pointer for a 64-58 lead with 3:17 remaining, but a layup from Myles Davis and a 3-pointer by Bluiett tied it at 66 with 42 seconds left. After free throws from Aaron Simpson and Garrett, Dee Davis settled for a quick layup with five seconds left.

UFC Fight Night 35 predictions, preview and analysis
It's hard to say, but I believe Tavares is too tough to be put away by strikes. The Hawaiian also has just one defeat in his pro career, a unanimous decision loss to Aaron Simpson, but I can't pick him to win because I don't think he's faced the same level of opposition as Larkin.

UFC FIGHT FOR THE TROOPS 3 PREVIEW: Penick's quick thoughts and fight ...
Ronny Markes won't ever be accused of being the most exciting fighter to watch, but what he does, he does quite well. He's a 14-1 fighter who has picked up three straight wins in the UFC, defeating solid middle of the division guys in Karlos Vemola, Aaron Simpson, and Andrew Craig. Yoel Romero only
