A weighting device for removably attaching to a golf club. The device has a mass with a bore formed therethrough and an access slot in open communication with the bore. The slot provides an entrance opening in the mass that is transverse to the bore for attaching the device to a shaft of a golf club.
A telescoping handle having a plurality of telescoping hollow tubes characterized by relative sliding stiffness between each of the tubes and having a similar resistance to rotation, the handle comprising a plurality of stiffeners having an outside diameter sized to fit snugly within an inside diameter of an associated tube. Each stiffener is positioned in an end of the associated tube remaining within an adjacent larger diameter tube when in an extended state. Each stiffener has an axial length at least as long as an overlap length of the associated tube and the adjacent larger diameter tube when in the extended state.
A golf accessory device includes a divot tool having a pair of spaced apart prongs at one end for repairing divots in a golfing surface. The tool also has an opening adjacent another end for receiving a ball marker assembly. A magnet is positioned in and circumscribes the opening. The ball marker assembly includes a ball marker and a support plate with the ball marker being magnetically attached to a first surface of the plate. A clip is attached to an opposite surface of the support plate. The marker and plate fit within the opening in the tool with an outer edge of the plate seated on the magnet. The ball marker assembly can be removed from the divot tool and attached to an item of clothing by the clip.

Abstract:
An apparatus that may be removably attached to a golf cart for covering a bag storage area of the golf cart may include a top panel sized to cover the bag storage area, means for releasably coupling the top panel to the golf cart, a first side panel and a second side panel each having a respective upper edge wherein a first segment of each respective upper edge is connected to a corresponding respective edge of the top panel, means for releasably coupling the first side panel and the second side panel to the golf cart, a back panel having a rear upper edge and a pair of lateral edges, the back panel positioned between the first side panel and the second side panel wherein the back panel is connected along a portion of each lateral edge to a respective portion of the first side panel and the second side panel and wherein a portion of the rear upper edge is connected to the top panel, and means for releasably coupling the top panel to at least one of the first side panel and the second side panel and the back panel such that a portion of the top panel may be lifted to define an opening for accessing the bag storage area of the golf cart.
A bridgestick having a telescoping handle and a quick disconnect bridge. The handle incorporates internal locking elements to prevent separation of the telescoping segments. Each joint between segments includes an internal stiffener that minimizes deflection of the handle when fully extended. The bridge includes a hollow receptacle for receiving an end of the handle. The receptacle and handle utilize a pin and socket arrangement to removably connect the bridge to the handle.

Abstract:
A device for retrieving an object such as a golf ball. The retriever comprises a handle, a stationary member or loop that is rigidly attached to the handle, a reactive member or loop that is pivotally attached to the stationary member and a spring for biasing the reactive member substantially perpendicular to the stationary member. A locking clip is attached to the stationary member and is rotatable between a locking position and an unlocking position. In the locking position, the clip restrains the reactive member in a position substantially parallel to the stationary member so that the retriever can be stored without the reactive member rotating into the perpendicular position.

Abstract:
A golf ball retriever handle having a plurality of telescoping segments, each segment comprising a tubular member configured to fit relatively snugly about an adjacent member in sliding engagement therewith, each of the members between the smallest diameter member and the largest diameter member being formed with a radially extending annular rib in proximity to a first end thereof and being formed with a radially inward extending annular depression in proximity to a second end thereof, whereby separation of the tubular members in a handle extending direction is inhibited. The handle also having at least one axial groove formed in each section such that overlapping grooves engage each other to prevent rotation of one section with respect to another.
