Systems for selective logging events in a network. In particular implementations, a method includes receiving indications of events associated with a network application; selectively flagging one or more of the events for logging; and applying the events to a processing stream comprising a plurality of process modules. The process modules are operative to receive events from another process module; apply one or more operations in response to the received events; and conditionally transmit one or more log messages identifying flagged events to a log data store.

Abstract:
This disclosure relates to mobile devices and imager sensors for visible light communication. A mobile device may include an LED configured as a VLC transmitter and one or more processors configured to encode a VLC signal. The LED may be operated to emit visible light in accordance with the VLC signal. A mobile device may include an imager sensor comprising a plurality of pixels and one or more processors. One or more pixels of the plurality of pixels may be configured as phototodetector(s) to receive visible light encoded with a VLC signal. The processor(s) of the mobile device may be configured to decode the VLC signal.
This disclosure relates to visible light communication (VLC) for locks. A VLC smart lock apparatus may include a photodetector, a VLC decoder, a controller, a memory, a lock, and/or other components. The photodetector may be configured to receive visible light emitted from a hardware key device. The VLC decoder may be coupled to the photodetector and configured to decode the visible light received by the photodetector to obtain a key code. The memory may be configured to store a preset key code. The controller may be coupled to the VLC decoder, the memory, and the lock. The controller may be configured to unlock the lock when the preset key code is associated with the key code.

A VLC SiP system may include an integrated circuit comprising a VLC encoder and an LED driver fabricated on a silicon substrate and an LED fabricated in a compound semiconductor. The integrated circuit and the LED may be packaged in a SiP module. Interconnects may be formed between the integrated circuit and the LED.
