A rotary dispenser with internal pressure relief includes a housing; an elevator slidably and non-rotatably disposed in the housing; a rotatable drive member rotatably disposed in the housing and engaged with the elevator whereby rotation of the drive member slides the elevator relative to the housing; a dome slidably and non-rotatably mounted relative to the housing and having at least one aperture for dispensing product from inside of the housing; and a pressure relief member having a cam and a cam follower, one of the cam and the cam follower being associated with the rotatable drive member and the other of the cam and the cam follower being associated with the dome, the cam follower being rotatably engaged with the cam, whereby rotation of the rotatable drive member relative to the dome rotates one of the cam and the cam follower relative to the other of the cam and the cam follower, the cam having at least one cam surface for causing axial movement of the dome toward the elevator and at least one second cam surface for allowing movement of the dome away from the elevator.

A dispenser includes an outer housing having a top defining an applicator surface and at least one dispensing opening in the applicator surface; and an inner housing defining a product space and having a top comprising at least one passage and at least one vane structure, the top being substantially adjacent to the dispensing opening of the outer housing, wherein the inner housing is rotatable relative to the outer housing around an axis so as to sequentially position the inner housing and the outer housing in an open position wherein the at least one passage of the inner housing is aligned with the at least one dispensing opening of the outer housing, and a closed position wherein the at least one vane structure of the inner housing is aligned with and blocks the at least one dispensing opening in the outer housing.
A container has a body with a body opening. A spout fitment base is positioned within the body opening. A spout has a threaded engagement with the spout fitment base for movement between a retracted position and an extended position. A cap has a removed condition disengaged from the body, spout fitment base, and spout. The cap has an installed condition having a threaded engagement with at least one of the body and spout base fitment. An unscrewing of the cap from its installed condition rotates the spout so that the threaded engagement with the spout with the spout base fitment drive the spout from the retracted condition toward the extended condition.
A method for filling a personal care product applicator comprises flowing an amount of said personal care product into a one piece body of the applicator through a first end thereof. The flowing leaves the product in a first location within the body atop a transverse web. A closure is secured to the body at the first end. The web is displaced to shift the product from the first location.

Abstract:
A container () has a body () having a body opening (). A spout fitment () is mounted within the body opening. A cap () has: a sidewall (); a web () enclosing an upper end of the sidewall; a flange () extending outward from the sidewall; an external thread () along the sidewall below the flange; a removed condition disengaged from the body and spout fitment; and an installed condition threadingly mounted by the external thread to at least one of the body and spout fitment. In the installed condition, a perimeter portion () of the flange is below a rim () of the spout fitment.
Closure With Unitarily-Molded Tamper-Evident Feature
A bottle closure includes the unitarily-molded combination of: an internally-threaded sidewall; a tamper indicator ring; and a hinge connecting the ring to the sidewall. The hinge permits the ring to be shifted from an initial position to an installation position. The installation position is essentially coaxially aligned with the sidewall.
