A system and method for presenting a student user a modularized course via a network, such as the Internet. The course is segmented into modules. A course preferably includes the following categories of modules: preparatory, lecture, interactive and test. Alternate embodiments of the present invention provide users, professors and teachers with an interface by which they can search modules by topic or subject matter. The system of such embodiments identifies modules related to the topic or subject matter being searched. Having identified the modules, the users, professors and teachers can select some or all of the identified modules and rearrange such modules into a new course. The new course may be stored in the system and offered as a separate course to students. Accordingly, the system allows new, customized courses to be created from existing courses.

Abstract:
A twist tie feed device is provided for twisting together the ends of a tie ribbon which encircles a product including a base plate. A twist head assembly is mounted on the base plate and receives a first end of a tie ribbon which encircles the product and a second end of the encircling tie ribbon and will rotate about itself to twist the tie ribbon about the article. Two positive drive wheels feed the ribbon in one of a first direction towards the twist head assembly and a second direction away from the twist head assembly so that the wheels contact the ribbon at its top and bottom to apply a positive drive force to the drive ribbon as it passes between the drive wheels. A drive assembly is operatively coupled to the twist head assembly and the drive wheels for driving the positive drive wheels and twist head assembly.

Abstract:
In a machine for twist tying a bundle of product, the tie ribbon is fed, for looping about the product to a twist head, by a feed roller. The leading end of the tie ribbon is then clamped to the twist head by a first gripper and, rearward of the feed roller, by a staking clamp and the feed roller is allowed to free wheel. The tie ribbon in the path between the feed roller and the staking clamp is then displaced laterally out of the path. The tension in the tie ribbon around the bundle is controlled by regulating the force applied in displacing the tie ribbon. While the tie ribbon is being tightened on the bundle, tie ribbon needed for looping about the next bundle is placed in an accumulator.
