Windows 8 'Metro' Is Dead, But UI Still Needs a Name
There are two distinct modes in Windows 8, and each needs a unique brand name.A Wired Gadget Lab article by Alexandra Chang suggests that Microsoft drop the separate name altogether. She feels that its enough to just call it Windows 8, and that the Metro name just adds confusion. She points out,
