Abstract:

A method is disclosed for inhibiting the growth of plants by application of a compound having the formula: ##STR1## R is C. sub. 1 -C. sub. 4 alkyl, phenyl, or phenyl substituted with at least one member of the group consisting of: C. sub. 1 -C. sub. 3 alkyl and C. sub. 1 -C. sub. 3 alkoxy; R. sub. 1 is C. sub. 1 C. sub. 4 alkyl; and R. sub. 2 is 3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl.
