Abstract:

A collapsible air vent closure is disclosed comprising a frame having a frame aperture. A closure is mounted to the frame for pivoting between a closed position and an open position. A movable vent wall having a vent orifice is interposed between the frame and the closure. The vent orifice provides an air flow path to the frame aperture when the closure is in the open position. The closure inhibits the air flow path to the frame aperture when the closure is in the closed position.

Abstract:

An improved solar operated ventilator cover is disclosed for covering an aperture disposed in a horizontal surface. The cover has sidewalls with a cover opening and a top surface with an internal wall extending between the sidewalls and the top wall. An orifice is defined in the internal wall for enabling the flow of air within the cover. An electric motor has a motor shaft with a fan blade positioned proximate the orifice. A photovoltaic cell is connected to the electric motor for rotating the fan blade proximate the orifice to establish the flow of air through the cover opening.

Abstract:

An air vent device for a window comprising a first end section having a first end connector and a second end section having a second end connector. The second end section is a mirror image of the first end section. A central section has a plurality of louvered openings with a first end of the central section connecting with one of the first and second end connector. A second end of the central section has a central connector for connection with the other of the first and second end connector. The sections are affixed to the exterior surface of the structure to overlay a portion of the window for providing ventilation through the plurality of louvered openings for the structure when the window is partially opened and with the plurality of louvered openings providing protection from precipitation entering the structure through the partially opened window.
