Abstract:

Methods and compositions are provided for improving tissue growth and device integration in vivo. Substrates and devices coated with an αβor αβintegrin-specific ligand are provided. The substrates and devices coated with an αβor αβintegrin-specific ligand are shown to have greater tissue formation on the surface relative to controls, in particular greater bone formation.

The invention is a method for fabricating a cell culture surface substrate, comprising the steps of a) forming a cell culture surface having a mechanical topography, b) forming a synthetic chemical pattern using a chemical pattern template, and c) combining the cell culture surface having a mechanical topography and the synthetic chemical pattern. Mechanical topography is defined as a pattern of mechanical structures with regular and specifically designed features. The synthetic chemical pattern is defined as a group of features of specific chemistry different from the chemistry of their surroundings that have regular and specifically designed features.

Abstract:

Counter anions having oxidative properties alter the performance of solution processed multilayer polymer light emitting diodes (PLEDs) that use cationic conjugated polyelectrolytes (CPEs) as electron injection layers (EILs). In some versions, PLEDs with poly(2-methoxy-5-(2′-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene) (MEH-PPV) emissive layers and cationic CPE EILs are altered with halide counter anions to exhibit a systematic increase in device performance. Exemplary oxidative counter anions are halide counter anions with F>Cl>Br>I in terms of device performance.

The various embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to the modification of biomaterials with microgel films. Abstract:

Disclosed herein are hydrogels that can be loaded with myogenic agents, for instance muscle stem cells (MuSCs)/satellite cells, pro-myogenic factors, and combinations thereof. The hydrogels can be contacted with damaged muscle tissue, thereby facilitating muscle growth and repair. Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for generating automated actions using artificial intelligence and composite audit trail events. Example devices may include at least one processor configured to determine a first score for completion of a plurality of tasks digitally completed by users associated with a clinical trial site identifier, determine an average document cycle time, generate, based at least in part on the first score and the average document cycle time, an estimated startup time value, and determine a second score for compliance with digital tasks.
