An omni-direction array of wind turbine assemblies is positioned upon and about the periphery of the roof of a building. Each wind turbine assembly comprises a self supporting modular box-shaped housing having an inlet and outlet for accelerating the flow of air therethrough. Turbine comprises a hub , a peripheral band and vanes having proximal and distal ends positioned there between and having a ring gear positioned on the peripheral band in mechanical communication with a plurality of generators for converting wind energy into electricity. Parabolic collectors are positioned and attached to the inlet and outlet of the housing for collecting, concentrating, directing and accelerating wind through the turbine in the throat section of the assembly. Each self supporting box-shaped modular housing is structurally communicated with other housings by interlocking mating surfaces.
An array of water turbine assemblies is positioned between two I-beams driven into the bed of a flowing water system. Each water turbine assembly comprises a modular box-shaped housing having an inlet and outlet for accelerating the flow of water therethrough. Turbine has a ring gear positioned about the periphery thereof in mechanical communication with a plurality of generators for converting the kinetic energy of flowing water into electricity. Receiving means are positioned and attached to the inlet and outlet of the housing for collecting, concentrating, directing and accelerating water through the turbine in the throat section of each water turbine assembly. Each box-shaped modular housing is structurally communicated with other housings by interlocking mating surfaces.
