Abstract:

A system and method that facilitates the transformation of PTVs, when in the âOFFâ mode, into aesthetically pleasing decorative furniture. The PTV preferably includes a primary and a secondary projection system. The secondary projection system preferably comprises a projection unit optically coupled to the screen of the PTV and an auxiliary image source coupled to the projection unit. Preferably, the program logic of the PTV directs the projection of an image from the secondary projection unit onto the screen when the PTV is in the âOFFâ mode.

Abstract:

A transaction product assembly includes a transaction product and a mechanical article. The transaction product includes an account identifier fixedly connected thereto, wherein the account identifier links the transaction product to an account and is machine readable by a terminal. The transaction product also includes a transmitting electrical assembly and at least one control button configured to interact with the transmitting electrical assembly in a manner causing the transmitting electrical assembly to output a radio frequency signal. The mechanical article includes at least one movable member, a receiving electrical assembly, and a motor. The receiving electrical assembly is configured to remotely receive the radio frequency signal output from the transmitting electrical assembly and to activate the motor. When activated, the motor induces movement of the at least one movable member relative to a remainder of the mechanical article in a manner consistent with the radio frequency signal.

Abstract:

An illuminating device includes an electronic assembly, a light source, a switch, a housing and a bundle of optical fibers. The electronic assembly is coupled to a power source. The light source is coupled to the electronic assembly to emit light. The switch is coupled to the electronic assembly to activate the power source for controlling an illumination from the light source. The housing has a base and a cover. The base provides a rib guide to secure the light source and an area for holding the electronic assembly. The cover and the base, when coupled together via a coupling post, provide an aperture at one end of the housing. The bundle of optical fibers has a proximal end, a distal end and a longitudinal length. The proximal end is formed by the first ends of the optical fibers. The distal end is formed by the second ends of the optical fibers.

Abstract:

A hollow, cylindrical clutch adapter that surrounds a screw-on end cap and prevents the transfer of excessive torquing forces to the end cap so as to avoid over-tightening the end cap to a threaded neck of a fluid reservoir, such as that common to a squeeze bottle. The squeeze bottle includes an outer body that surrounds the fluid reservoir and a hollow head that surrounds the clutch adapter and is rotatable relative to the outer body. The clutch adapter includes a series of parallel aligned splines or teeth projecting radially inward thereof so as to be respectively interspersed between the usual ridges that are molded into the end cap, whereby to insure that a rotational force applied to the clutch adapter will be transmitted to the end cap. The hollow head is rotated to apply a corresponding rotational force to the end cap via the clutch adapter located therebetween. Once the end cap has been sufficiently tightened against the neck of the fluid reservoir, any further rotation of the head will cause the clutch adapter affixed thereto to slip and rotate around the end cap, such that excessive torquing forces that are applied to the head will be dissipated by the clutch adapter.
