Subject: Kudos....
Team,
I just wanted to ask you all to help me congratulate April on an enormous result today in our accounting team. Today, April recorded past due Account Receivables (AR) at just 2.13% of total receivables. You might not immediately understand the significance of that result, but our previous best was 2.9% recorded in 2008! To put this into perspective, a ‘past due’ burden on AR of 12%-15% is considered very normal for our industry, so 2.13% is a massive result!
Strong AR is one of the cornerstones of the business – and fundamental to the continued growth and success of PCS. This low level of AR was achieved by constant dedication to following up on past due receivables with our Clients, and didn’t just happen overnight.
Congrats again April – Keep up the good work!
Best Regards,
Brendan McIntyre

….to April in Accounting!
For the past few years we’ve had a record to break in the accounting department of the overall money ‘past due’ as a percentage of the overall money owed in total to the company (Receivables). The goal, clearly, is to have a very low amount of money past due from our clients and it’s a sign of great book-keeping the lower the number is relative to the overall amount that we are owed as a business. The record has stood at 2.13% of total AR – set by April – on 11/9/2010, but I’m delighted to announce that she has just beaten it with a new record of 1.92%.
Now while AR is primarily one of April’s direct responsibilities, this also points to an overall book-keeping efficiency evident in our back office team, and April could not dedicate the time and effort required to keep the ‘past due’ AR low, without having the strong ‘right-hand’ partner in the team that is Alia. So my hearty congratulations goes out to both April and Alia on a job well done (continually)! Keep up all the great work.
I’m hoping this helps everybody appreciate and understand what a strong backbone that the PCS team has and helps you understand just how important each person’s role is here. Our sales / recruiting efforts take up the prominence of our daily conversations, but PCS would be also be nothing without the constant detail and focus that comes from our accounting team.
Congratulations again!
Best Regards,
