Abstract:

A gaming machine and method are provided which allow a player to play a gaming machine. The gaming machine and method allow a player to make a wager, display a first game on a display device, generate an outcome associated with the first game, and award the player an award for the first game based at least in part on the generated first game outcome. In addition, the gaming machine determines if a triggering condition occurred, displays a second game if the triggering condition has occurred, and calculates a current trigger cycle of the generated second game. The current trigger cycle is equal to a number of first games played after an occurrence of a previous second game triggering condition. The player is provided an award for the second game based at least in part on the second game current trigger cycle.

Abstract:

A gaming machine and method are provided which allow a player to play a gaming machine. The gaming machine and method allow a player to make a wager on a first primary game and randomly generate an outcome of the first primary game. The gaming machine determines if an anticipation event triggering condition has occurred based at least in part on an anticipation event probability associated with the first primary game, displays an anticipation event on the display device if the anticipation event triggering condition has occurred, and displays the first primary game outcome on the display device. A number of anticipation events that have occurred during the first gaming session is calculated, and the anticipation event probability is modifying based at least in part on the number of anticipation events that have occurred. The player is awarded an award if the first primary game outcome is a winning outcome.

Abstract:

A method and system for forming a composite mixture of at least two materials, at least one of which is a metal or metal alloy. The materials in a molten state are supplied via inlet channels to a mixing region so as to indirectly impinge on each other and then to flow through an outlet channel to a cooling system, such as a casting or mold device or a device for providing rapid solidification thereof. The ratio of the cross-sectional area of the outlet channel to the sum of the cross-sectional areas of the inlet channels is arranged to be less than 32 and the ratio of the distance from the input side of the outlet channel to the input of the cooling system to the diameter of the outlet channel is arranged to be greater than 5.

A method of manufacturing dispersion-strengthened material wherein a first material having a metal matrix M and at least one metal X capable of reacting with boron is supplied in a molten state to a mixing region at a first velocity. A second material having a metal matrix M and boron is supplied to the mixing region at a second velocity. The materials impinge on one another to produce a reaction between the metal X and the boron to form a boride in the metal matrix M. The mixture is solidified and pulverized to a powder which is then cleaned and consolidated.

Abstract:

A method of allowing a player to play a gaming machine is described herein. The method includes displaying, on a display device, a game including at least one reel. The at least one reel includes a plurality of symbol positions that have a plurality of normal symbols positions and a plurality of special symbol positions. The outcome of a game is randomly generated and displayed on the display device. The method also includes randomly determining a number of special symbol positions being displayed with the at least one reel and spinning and stopping the at least one reel to display the generated game outcome, wherein the at least one reel includes the plurality of symbol positions having the determined number of special symbol positions.
