Abstract:

The drying board supports a freshly coated article during drying and includes a plurality of rigid upright projections extending upward from a rigid support structure. Each projection has base connected to the support structure and terminates in an upper end. The projection upper ends define a support plane for supporting a freshly coated article during drying. The projections are spaced apart to allow air flow to the supported side of the coated article. In an exemplary embodiment, the projections are randomly positioned such as not to present a pattern on the object and yet to provide a substantially uniform support area for said support plane. The projections are asymmetrically positioned relative to the perimeter of the support structure such that one drying board may be inverted and stacked upon another such that their perimeters are congruent and such that the projections do not interfere with one another.

Abstract:

Techniques are provided herein for procedures for establishing an aircraft-to-aircraft mesh network during flight using high-bandwidth directional communication beams. A first aircraft may be able to utilize flight data about a second aircraft to reduce a computational cost of a beam discovery procedure used to establish directional communication beams in the aircraft-to-aircraft mesh network. For example, the first aircraft may receive flight data (e.g., position information, heading, altitude, etc.) using an air traffic control system. The first aircraft may determine one or more predicted locations of the second aircraft based on the flight data. The first aircraft may use the predicted locations to transmit directional discovery beams to only those locations where the second aircraft is likely to be. Upon receiving at least one of the directional discovery beams, the second aircraft and the first aircraft may establish a communication link of the aircraft-to-aircraft mesh network.

Abstract:

Methods and apparatus for flexible bandwidth operation in a wireless communication network are provided. A User Equipment (UE) monitors a first set of resources for a first control channel in a first bandwidth region. In response, to detecting the first control channel, the UE monitors a second set of resources in a second bandwidth region for at least one of control information or data, the second bandwidth region larger than the first bandwidth region, wherein the monitoring the second set of resources for the control information includes monitoring the second set of resources for a second control channel for receiving the control information scheduling resources for receiving the data.
