Interests:

Active Musician and leader of an all-female Rock band called Amethyst. Song writer, back-up singer, and guitarist. I play bass, guitar, and piano and am in the process of learning the drums – yes, in my house! My interest in photography goes back to my childhood and I continue to be contacted for weddings, debuts, quinceñeras, and various special events as a freelance artist. It’s great to make people feel special. Digital Certification: recognized as a top professional in the field of digital photography.

Honor & Awards:

San Antonio Police Department Academy Award: Awarded by the City of San Antonio to an “outstanding individual whose unselfish and consistent support assisted in the training and graduation of SAPD cadets”. SAPD trainees take part in a series of exercises where Citizen Police Academy graduates play the role of members of the public. The officers gain confidence and competence through realistic assessments and learn to identify and document situations accurately. Alzheimer’s Association: Recognized nationally for outstanding contribution to the “Time to Triumph” campaign.
