Barb Snyder is a self-taught artist. Following surgery for a detached retina in 2011, she was required to maintain a heads-down (chin-to-chest) and eyes-down position 24-7 for 21 days. During this period, she passed the time doodling. Since then, her passion for art has developed by trial-and-error discovery. Her style is influenced by her other passions -- antique books and ephemera, architectural artifacts, journaling, and whimsical one-of-a kind items. Her style is sentimental and quirky. She divides her time between Virginia and Southwest Florida.
