Brian J. Manning has worked as a real estate broker since 1987. Having worked as an account executive in building management with Brown Harris Stevens during the mid-1980's, he gained extensive knowledge of New York City buildings and the ins and outs of co-op boards. He became a broker after selling an apartment in a building he formerly managed. Before rejoining Brown Harris Stevens he had a long a successful association with Charles H. Greenthal. Prior to his work in building management, he spent many years as a teacher at St. John's Preparatory School. The Real Estate Board of New York honored Brian J. Manning in 2007 with one of its Residential Deal of the Year Awards. Brian has built his business on referrals. His friends and family and friends of friends have created the base of his loyal clientele. His new clients benefit as well from his understanding of how buildings work and the requirements and expectations of co-op boards. He also educates his clients about the market, while he is informing them about what properties and building amenities may best serve their needs. Brian has always lived in New York (and presently resides in a building on the Upper East Side that is featured in a famous sitcom). He also maintains a second home in Vail, Colorado. He loves to travel and has skied all over the world.
