Abstract:

A dual pocket or envelope for CDs or DVDs is formed of two standard letter size sheets of 8″×11″ or A-4 size paper, which are bonded together around the edges of the sheets and centrally to divide the sheet assembly into two pockets which are substantially square to hold the discs. One of the sheets is die cut to form the upper edge of the pockets, with a closure flap also being formed above each pocket. Each closure flap may be held in the closed position by mechanical interlinking with the pocket, or by exposed pressure sensitive adhesive, which is enabled and exposed by the removal of a release coated slip of paper from one of the two sheets. An index tab may be die cut from said sheets above the open edge of each pocket.

Abstract:

An 8 by 11 inch paper sheet construction having a pattern of score and perforated lines formed thereon is provided to the user. The lines form corner tear-away strips, a central panel, left and right side flaps, and top and bottom flaps. The user enters into his computer the desired indicia to be printed on inside surfaces of one or more of the central panel and top and bottom flaps and the desired address indicia to be printed on the outside surface of the central panel, and then has the desired indicia and address indicia printed on the sheet construction by feeding it into his desk top printer. He then tears off the four corner tear-away strips. He next places the desired flat object(s) (such as postcards) he wants to mail on the inside surface of the central panel and folds the two side flaps in, the bottom flap up and the top flap down. A seal is then applied to releasably secure the top flap to the bottom flap. Postage is applied to the outside of the addressed central panel and the mailer with flat object(s) is mailed.

Abstract:

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a search engine system, method and apparatus comprising a search engine, a participant management system, at least one storage database, a listing database and at least one feedback mechanism. The search engine accepts input data and utilizes the input data to search for information related to the search terms. Upon retrieval of relevant information, the data analysis module organizes the data related to the search terms into a search results list. To determine the placement of listings upon a search request, the data analysis module determines the probability, for each relevant listing, that the user will ultimately complete the desired action if the listing is shown, wherein the probability of action is determined by a plurality of factors. This probability is then combined with the specific CPA for the advertiser. Transaction information derived from a search and click is returned through the feedback mechanism to the search engine for revised calculation of listing placement.

Abstract:

Pending structural engineer approval, the invention replaces previous technology for creating vertical separation between concrete or soil and exposed structural wood posts. Previous accommodations for this requirement call for obtrusive raised concrete bases (considerably wider than the posts themselves) under the posts. Such bases create the potential for personal injury and are visually unappealing. The bracket base is of equal size and shape to the bottom of the cross-cut wood post. The single center-mounted bolting strap allows for recessing the nuts, bolts, and washers flush to the outside of the post. There are, thus, continuous planes along the four sides of the post from its top to the bottom of the exposed bracket. The entire post and bracket can be clad with any suitable material (wood, manufactured sidings, aluminum, vinyl, etc.) to conceal the entire bracket and structural post.
