One nonlimiting variation of a detection arrangement includes one or more sensors each structured to detect at least one biochemical substance indicative of biochemistry of one or more target insect species and provide a corresponding sensor signal, a controller responsive to the sensor signal of each of the one or more sensors to determine if the one or more insect species are present and generate a corresponding output signal, and an indicator responsive to the output signal to indicate the presence of the one or more insect species.

Abstract:
A pest control device system includes a plurality of pest control devices and a data collector. The system may further include the data collector in the form of a gateway that is connected to a data management server via a computer network along with other gateways in corresponding pest control device groups. Each pest control device includes a pest sensor and a wireless communication circuit to transmit information from the corresponding sensor. The devices also configure to define a local wireless communication network that can relay the information from one to the next and ultimately to the data collector.

Abstract:
A bait station comprises a base having first and second side walls connected together along a corner and extending preferably at about a 90. degree. angle to one another, and a cover secured to the side walls to form a triangular unit. A pair of mutually-facing, C-shaped projections extend into the interior chamber of the bait station from the corner between the side walls at an angle of 45. degree. to each side wall. (In one embodiment, top projections extend downwardly from the cover adjacent the base projections. ) A bait material is positioned in the station between the C-shaped base projections. The bait station is advantageously positioned on a surface adjacent a wall, and insects and the like crawling along the wall are directed into the station and to the bait. The design of the bait station makes it useful with either of the side walls placed as the bottom of the unit.

What we learned as 49ers begin preseason play with loss to Titans
Special-teams coordinator Brian Schneider and Shanahan inadvertently got in the way of the official along the 49ers sideline and were called for unsportsmanlike conduct to add another 15 yards onto the end of the play.

a fumble against Minnesota as the up man before dishing out a big tackle against Houston as a gunner. New 49ers special teams coach Brian Schneider, who previously held that position for the Seahawks, might bang the table for Turner in the decision room since he formerly worked with him in Seattle.

faced Aaron after Aaron had hit his 755th homer - and held him to a single in two at-bats. I remember Brian Schneider, the Nationals catcher, finding a picture the next day of Bonds's swing with Schneider in the frame, and Schneider frantically figuring out a way to get a print and have Bonds sign it.
