First severe storms of the season bring hail to parts of metro area
6:35 P.M. UPDATE KMBC 9 News Chief Meteorologist Bryan Busby continues to monitor the situation and some thunderstorms will pass through the metro area until the cold front passes through. However, most indications are the severe storms will quickly quickly move to the East of the Kansas City.
