Bragging Rights:

Dr. Bud Shuler is a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon with additional board certifications in Vascular Medicine and Phlebology (Vein Specialist). He currently serves as President and Managing Partner of Vascular Associates, LLC. In addition to his practice duties, Dr. Shuler also serves on the Coding and Reimbursement Committee for the American College of Phlebology and the Advisory Committees at Gulf Coast Community College for the Surgery Technology and the Medical Imaging Schools. Dr. Shuler received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency training in general surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Upon completing his medical training, Dr. Shuler served in the United State Air Force as a general and combat surgeon deployed into Afghanistan in 2001-2002. He also furthered his education by completing fellowships in laparoscopic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and in vascular surgery at Atlanta Medical Center.
