Abstract:

A light-weight portable temperature control system which includes form fitting disposable therapy pads for selected body parts having serpentine fluid channels therethrough, a programmable microprocessor for controlling the temperature type and length of cycle, quick disconnects for the therapy pad, a thermoelectric cooler with a liquid heat exchanger and a pump for circulating the fluid through the system.

Abstract:

A tool for removing a cryogenic cooler from a dewer-detector. The cooler a flange which mounts onto the dewer through a hole on a large flange to which the dewer is mounted. The tool includes parts for holding the flange fixed with respect to a base plate and parts for attaching to the base of the cooler and moving the cooler with respect to the base.

Abstract:

An environmentally safe cooling system employing a non-freon base Stirling cycle cooler whereby a collant is cooled in a heat exchanger, circulated to a remote location to a set of refrigeration coils (over which air is circulated) and subsequently recirculated to the heat exchanger for removal of the coolant absorbed heat to repeat the cycle.
