Abstract:

A system for displaying graphical information in three dimensions. The system includes a host device executing an application for generating graphical information in a spatial transport protocol. Rendering hardware generates three-dimensional display data and a frame buffer stores the three-dimensional display data. A spatial display displays the three-dimensional display data. A spatial transport protocol interpreter receives the graphical information in the spatial transport protocol and controls operation of the rendering hardware and the frame buffer in response to the graphical information in the spatial transport protocol. An architecture for displaying graphical information in three-dimensions is also provided.

Abstract:

A system may include an imaging apparatus and an access device. The imaging apparatus may include a light source that emits at least light having one or more wavelengths in the range of about 700 nanometers to about 2,500 nanometers, a camera that is (a) sensitive to light having a wavelength in the range of about 700 nanometers to about 2,500 nanometers, and (b) so positioned relative to the light source as to receive light having a wavelength in the range of about 700 nanometers to about 2,500 nanometers that has been (i) emitted from the light source and (ii) reflected from a target, a processor that forms an image signal based at least in part upon signals indicative of the light having a wavelength in the range of about 700 nanometers to about 2,500 nanometers that is sensed by the camera, and a display screen so coupled to the processor as to receive the image signal and to display an image. The access device may include a hollow, stiff, steel needle having an outer surface, at least a portion of which outer surface is (a) coated with a coating comprising at least one of (i) titanium nitride, (ii) gold, and (iii) a metal oxide, and/or (b) irregularized.

Abstract:

A plurality of persona attributes are identified within a data set received from a data seller. A persona privacy risk associated with the persona attributes of the dataset is determined. The persona privacy risk comprises an estimate of the potential sensitivity of the persona attributes. A plurality of identity attributes within a data set received from a data seller are identified. An identity privacy risk associated with the plurality of identity attributes is determined. The persona privacy risk comprises an estimate of the risk that the plurality of identity attributes identify the data seller. A total privacy risk is then determined using the persona privacy risk and the identity privacy risk associated with the dataset, the total privacy risk comprising an estimate of a total risk to the privacy of the data seller that disclosure of the dataset represents.
