Abstract:
A roller that is particularly useful for use with golf course greens. The roller has a base having front, rear and opposing sides, the base having a frame and a deck disposed on the frame. An operator seat is disposed on a base deck and fixedly oriented toward the front of the roller. Operator controls are disposed in front of the seat. The roller has a driven roller which normally rolls substantially in the front and rear directions. The driven roller is cylindrical and rotates about an elongated axis which is oriented substantially normally side to side with respect to the roller. The driven roller is disposed behind the seat.
A sprayer that is particularly useful for golf course turf. The sprayer includes a vehicle, a sprayer connected to the vehicle, and an electric power system for moving the vehicle and for operating the sprayer. The sprayer includes a liquid material storage connected to the vehicle, a spray assembly communicatively connected to the liquid material storage, and a spray boom communicatively connected to the vehicle and to the distribution system for applying a spray to a predetermined location or area proximate the vehicle, The spray assembly includes a pumping system communicatively connected to the electric power system and to the liquid material storage. The spray assembly also has a filtering system communicatively connected to the liquid material storage the spray assembly also has a distribution system communicatively connected to the liquid material storage for controlling and selectively moving liquid material in at least a pair of direction. The electric power system includes at least one battery, at least one electric motor connected to the battery, to the vehicle for moving the vehicle, and to at least one pump for supplying liquid material to the sprayer.

Abstract:
A speed limiting device for a vehicle equipped with a deployable utility device such as a bunker rake. An adjustable mechanical linkage connects a limiting mechanism to the deployable utility device such that when the utility device is deployed, the limiting mechanism is positioned to stop rotation of a pivoting member which controls the output of the power source, such as a hydrostatic drive. The adjustable linkage provides adjustment of the stop position and, therefore, the maximum speed of the vehicle when the utility device is deployed. When the utility device is in the non-deployed position, the limiting mechanism is positioned such that it does not inhibit the motion of the pivoting member, and the vehicle can be operated over its entire speed range.
