On Monday night, Occupy Austin member Carl Lindemann told the group's general assembly that protesters earlier in the day had asked that power washing be rescheduled so people will not have to wake up to move their possessions at 2 a.m. and asked the city to open a park for camping so demonstrators
"We did reach out. We made every effort," said Occupy Austin spokesperson Carl Lindemann. "I believe Occupy Austin the rank and file want what we all want -- to express ourselves, not be a burden, be good neighbors. That means you don't arrest your neighbors, it doesn't happen that way."
