Abstract:

An administration system for delivery of a pharmaceutical composition to a patient has a delivery device configured to deliver a dose of the pharmaceutical composition to the patient and a notification device in communication with the delivery device. The notification device is configured to communicate information about a status of at least one property of the delivery device. The delivery device is a wearable automatic injector configured to be worn on the patient's skin. A delivery device of the present disclosure allows a user or patient to view the status of a container. For example, a delivery device of the present disclosure provides a simple and effective visual means of displaying fill confirmation and delivery confirmation.

Abstract:

In one embodiment, a network node device includes a hardware platform including a central processing unit (CPU) complex, a storage medium and an input/output subsystem to provide network processing and transport of data in a network. The CPU complex is operative to receive a plurality of hardware platform management decisions from a plurality of different network nodes in the network, process the received hardware platform management decisions to yield a hardware platform management proposed action, and issue a command to implement the hardware platform management proposed action in the hardware platform. The hardware platform is operative to implement the hardware platform management proposed action. Related apparatus and methods are also described.

Abstract:

A method for sterilizing a cyanoacrylate composition comprises exposing it to microwaves. The method can further comprise post-heating the composition after microwave exposure, and/or cooling the composition after post-heating it. In addition, a system for sterilizing a cyanoacrylate composition comprises a sterilizing chamber, a microwave generator. The system can further comprise an infrared thermometer, a post-heating chamber, a heater thermometer, a cooling mechanism, and/or a belt. In some embodiments, the belt is configured to move sample vials containing cyanoacrylate to and from the sterilizing chamber, and to and from the post-heating chamber.
