I have been licensed since 1997. I currently have a license in Michigan and Alabama and sell in the greater Birmingham AL area, mostly in the Hoover area. I have also been licensed in Kentucky. My husband is recently retired from the automotive industry and during his career we have moved several times, he is now assisting me(He is famous - He won the 2008 AL Governor's Turkey Hunt). I understand the concerns with moving whether it is a local or out-of-state move. Now is a great time to buy and if you are selling and purchasing it is still a good time to make a change, you may have to sell low but you will be able to purchase low. It is truly a buyer's market. We are very fortunate in Birmingham because we are not experiencing the large number of foreclosures seen in other parts of the country.
