Abstract:
A process for preparing a calcium enriched food product by: A) forming a mixture of calcium hydroxide and water or a fruit juice; B) mixing phosphorus-based acid with the mixture, the phosphorus-based acid being in an amount sufficient to substantially neutralize the calcium hydroxide or to obtain a pH in the range of from about 4. 0 to about 6. 0; C) mixing calcium lactate with the mixture from step B) until the calcium lactate is dispersed into the mixture; and D) mixing calcium phosphate with the mixture from step C) until the calcium phosphate is dispersed into the mixture. Beverage material, especially fruit juice is mixed with the mixture from step D) so as to form a calcium enriched food product. A process is further provided wherein the components are directly added into fruit juice, particularly not from concentrate fruit juice. Calcium enriched orange juice made by the process can exhibit taste and color characteristics similar to non-calcium enriched orange juice.

Abstract:
A configuration, all components of which are man portable in some embodiments, for holding panels to protect assets against external force and impacts from airborne projectiles. An open box-like stackable frame module holds panels along a side of the frame. Multiple frames are connected to construct a protective barrier, such as a wall. Frames include provisions for connection in a vertical configuration so as to allow stacking of the frames to increase the height of the barrier. A method of installing is also provided.

Abstract:
Ready armor modular protective systems that can be rapidly deployed in an urban environment. Exemplary armor systems include multiple space frame units. Adjacent space frame units can be coupled together with vertically adjustable coupling mechanisms. Coupling mechanisms (e.g. slot and pin connecting mechanisms) can facilitate relative displacement between adjacent space frame units when the units are connected. In this way, a wall of connected adjacent space frame units can be placed and/or moved along an uneven or irregular surface (e.g. having bumps or a grade) and the adjacent space frame units can remain in parallel and/or vertical orientation relative to one another. Suspension mechanisms can help to facilitate or enable rapid deployment of a ready armor modular protective system.
