In 2004 I set up the first of its kind, National Furniture Repair Directory, specializing in Chair Caning, Wicker Repair, Upholstery and Furniture Restoration experts so customers could locate someone nearby to restore their furniture. Also in 2004, I set up the Seatweaving & Chair Caning Forum--The Caner's Community Hub an online gathering place for chair caning enthusiasts to talk about the craft of chair seat weaving with others in the industry. Founding member and first President (2007-2011) of the only chair caning guild in North America, The SeatWeavers' Guild, Inc.
