Abstract:

Tools and techniques for routing users to receive online services based on online behavior are provided. These tools may receive representations of activity involving different users in interacting with online services, and may analyze these representations of user activity. The tools may also compute scores for the users based on this previous user activity. The scores may indicate a server system, out of several server systems, which the user is to be routed to obtain online services. The tools may also store the user's score as associated with the user.

Abstract:

A word entered into a document interface is recorded. The document interface may be part of a web-based application provided through a web browser. A request for determining whether a word is correctly spelled is transmitted across a network. An indication as to whether the word is incorrectly spelled or correctly spelled is then received. The display of the word within the document interface is then transformed from a first state where the word is plainly displayed to a second state where the word is displayed with a user interface marker. The user interface marker may be configured to provide a visual indication that the word is incorrectly spelled. The operations of recording the word, transmitting the request, receiving the indication, and transforming the display of the word from the first state to the second state may be performed in the background of the web-based application without interfering with user workflow within the document interface.

Abstract:

A method for providing linked note-taking includes receiving a notification from an online presentation service presenting a document that a note file relating to the document has been created in a client application, requesting at least a portion of the document and document information from the online presentation service, receiving, from the online presentation service, the at least a portion of the document and document information retrieved from a client application where the document resides, receiving a note within the note file and associating the note with at least a portion of the document and document information without locally opening the document in the client application.
