Abstract:
A large, deployable space telescope () includes an optical system element () and a support structure () supporting the optical system element. The support structure is formed of a composite material () of boron and carbon fibers in a plastic resin matrix. The composite support structure has a net coefficient of thermal expansion within 0.1 ppm/K at temperatures below 75K which enables diffraction limited performance of the telescope under cryogenic operational temperature variations.

Abstract:
A large, low cost and high quality optical telescope system (1) includes a segmented primary mirror (2) having a plurality of spherical mirror segments (3) arranged in a non-spherical shape (4), a parabolic shape in the disclosed embodiment, so that the rays incident upon the individual spherical mirror segments stay separated at an exit pupil (5) of the system, allowing for correction of aberrations. A discontinuous pupil corrector in the form of a segmented mirror (7) having a plurality of aspheric correction terms in it, is located at the exit pupil for correction of aberrations introduced from respective ones of the plurality of spherical mirror segments of the primary mirror. The discontinuous pupil corrector preferably is a segmented deformable mirror. The telescope system and related method can achieve diffraction limited performance for very large systems. The disclosed embodiment is a 35 meter aperture, deployable space telescope system.
Augmented Reality System For Facilitating Item Relocation Via Augmented Reality Cues And Location Based Confirmation
In certain embodiments, item relocation may be facilitated via augmented reality cues and location-based confirmation. In some embodiments, in response to a detection of a first pattern in a live video stream obtained at a client device, a first location associated with the client device may be obtained, and an augmented reality presentation of a visual directional cue may be presented on a user interface of the client device such that the visual directional cue is overlaid on the live video stream. The visual directional cue may include visual directions from the first location to a destination location. In response to an indication that the item has been relocated to the destination location, a determination may be made as to whether the client device is within a threshold distance from the destination location. A confirmation may be generated in response to the client device being within the threshold distance.
System And Method For Facilitating Model-Based Tracking-Related Prediction For Shipped Items

Abstract:
In certain embodiments, model-based tracking-related prediction for shipped containers may be provided. In some embodiments, scan event information may be obtained. The scan event information may indicate a first-location scan event associated with a first container that occurred at a first location, a first-location scan event associated with a second container that occurred at the first location, and a second-location scan event associated with the first container that occurred at a second location. A prediction model may be used, without a second-location scan event for the second container occurring at the second location, to generate a prediction regarding (i) the second container being at the second location subsequent to being at the first location and (ii) the second container being at a third location subsequent to being at the second location. The prediction may be generated, using the prediction model, based on the scan event information.
