Charles Edwards ( Rastafarian ) Prince Emanuel Charles Edwards, 1898-1981, was a Jamaican Rastafari movement who founded the Mansions of Rastafari#Bobo Shanti order in 1958 and is held by that group to be a member of the holy Trinity, along with Haile Selassie I and Marcus Garvey.

He was made a Privy Council of the United Kingdom in 1940, and from 1940 to 1942 he was government whip ( politics ) in the Coalition Government 1940-1945.
In his memoirs, " An Afflicted Man's Testimony Concerning his Troubles " ( 1691 ), he said that he had been promised a Oxbridge Fellow but that this was denied because of his views on the rule of Oliver Cromwell....
He was elected to a Bible clerkship at All Souls College, Oxford in 1644,
who had taken charge of the university during the English Commonwealth ), he was given a scholarship at Jesus College, Oxford later the same year and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1649.
