Abstract:

By providing a unique, pre-printed promotional/delivery system which can be produced in a wide variety of alternate forms and/or configurations incorporating at least two principal cooperating components mounted to each other, with one component being movable relative to a fixed holding component in response to action taken by the user, a unique, hands-on, printed, visually exciting and interest generating advertising/promotional product and/or delivery system is attained. In the preferred construction, the user action causes the movable component to move from a first position, wherein the movable component is fully retained in the holding component, to a second position, wherein the movable component extends outwardly from the holding component. In this way, a unique, user controlled, unanticipated and surprising result is achieved which enables any desired gift, display, award, certificate, prize, or promotion to be delivered in a unique manner.

Abstract:

By providing a pre-printed promotional system which employs a housing and a cooperating slider panel mounted to each other, with the slider panel being movable for activating a foldable graphic element to move between an open displayed position and a closed, folded position, a unique, hands-on, printed, visually exciting and interest generating advertising/promotional product is attained. Preferably, the promotional system comprises two cooperating components which are cooperatively associated to each other in sliding interengagement. Although two components are required for achieving the basic construction, alternate embodiments of the present invention may incorporate additional components for providing a further enhanced visual impact.

Abstract:

A product delivery and/or dispensing system is realized by providing a housing or holding zone constructed for securely retaining any desired product or item which a user or gift-giver wishes to be delivered or dispensed with the housing or holding zone being automatically activated or moved from a first, fully retained position into a second, outwardly extending position whenever a slider panel is moved in a direction which is opposite from the direction of the movement of the housing or holding zone. By moving the slider in a first direction, the housing or holding zone moves in an opposite direction, typically to the surprise and excitement of the user. Abstract:

A foldable display stand or a display package incorporates a releasable sliding locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises a folded portion which forms a pair of latching members which engage in a die-cut button opening of a panel for locking the sliding member in position. The locking mechanism may be released by depressing the latch to disengage from the opening. A composite material and metal canister has a cylindrical corrosion resistant metal shell and a composite material bulkhead within the shell which provides corrosion resistance and minimal weight coupled with the ability to withstand high internal pressures and bending stresses. The metal shell and the composite bulkhead are joined by a circumferential compression exerted on the shell by an external ring of shape memory material to produce a fluid-tight seal therebetween the shell and an adjacent bulkhead. A pair of composite material bulkheads and a pair of shape memory material rings can be used to seal both ends of the shell by locating an inner bulkhead and an external ring at respective ends of the shell.

Abstract:

A user is presented with handle of a captive but freely moveable wand, the handle useable to move an attached viewfinder over a clear front window of a front component to selectively reveal parts of printed matter on a hidden back component as apparently part of semi-transparently printed matter on the clear front window. Inside, a concealed component tethered to the wand travels between the semi-transparently printed matter and the printed matter on the hidden back component. The tethered concealed component has an opening that lies directly below and matches an opening in the viewfinder in size so that, with movement, it can selectively show (a) both the printed matter on the clear front window superimposed over the selectively revealed parts of the printed matter on the back component in the viewfinder and (b) solely the semi-transparently printed matter on the clear front window outside the viewfinder.
