The present invention is directed to low volatile organic compound aerosol hair cosmetic compositions which contain nonionically derivatized starches optionally hydrolyzed and/or ionically modified, about 5-55% propellant, up to 50% solvent, and water. Such compositions provide a clear solution with a low viscosity, good spray caracteristics, a clear, non-tacky film, good stiffness, and improved humidity resistance.
Use Of High Hydroxyl Compounds For Water Sensitive Hot Melt Adhesives
A hot melt adhesive composition comprising (a) greater than 40% by weight of a polymeric component; and (b) 5 to 40% by weight of a high hydroxyl number compound, with hydroxyl number greater than 100 mg KOH/g.

Abstract:
A pressure sensitive hot melt adhesive composition which comprises a high molecular weight rubber and less than about 60 parts by weight of a liquid diluent, and has a Gâ of less than about 15Ã10 dynes/cm at 10 rad/s at 25Â C. is useful for adhesive skin application (e. g. , surgical tape), including transdermal drug delivery applications.

Abstract:
Pressure sensitive adhesive tapes produced by a process where cationic cure is conducted against a paper film substrate and an optional second film substrate, both having low moisture content. The low moisture content is maintained during cationic cure by putting the pressure sensitive adhesive tapes in an environment where moisture ingress is prevented. The maintenance of low moisture during cure provides enhanced SAFT values.

Abstract:
A low application temperature rubber-based hot melt adhesive having properties particularly well suited for use in the construction of disposable articles has been invented. The adhesive comprises a styrene block copolymer and a type of wax in an amount effective to produce a viscosity at 120 C. of below about 10,000 centipoises, a cube flow at 130 F. (54 C. ) of less than about 300%, a DSC crystallization temperature of less than about 75 C. and a storage modulus of less than about 1. 0×10dynes/cmat 10 rads/sec (25 C. ).
