Abstract:

The invention relates to a device for hiccup relief. The present invention provides a hiccup relief device having a main body having a substantially uniform longitudinal shape and a tab disposed on the main body, wherein the tab extends away from the body. The present invention also provides a hiccup relief method including: obtaining a hiccup relief device having a disrupting portion; positioning the hiccup relief device in a mouth of a user; and, delivering a consumable liquid over the hiccup relief device, wherein the disrupting portion disrupts a flow of liquid over the hiccup relief device.

Abstract:

A glove provides high palm shear force and reduced finger shear force when pulling elongated articles such as a rope, a rod, and the like. A high shear material is applied to a glove palm and a low shear material is applied to inner glove finger surfaces. The fingers are still used to grasp the elongated article, but the shear pulling force on the fingers is reduced and the shear pulling force on the palm is increased. In one embodiment, the high shear material on the palm is a silicone material and the low shear material on the inner finger surfaces is a ballistic material.

A vehicle camper shell is provided with a pivotally mounted top that includes a tent assembly such that when the top is opened away from the compartment defined by the shell, the tent assembly opens up and provides a tent shelter assembly with a sleeping platform defined by the top. The sleeping area is defined solely by the pivoting top and the tent expands the compartment area to include a stand up area and a sleeping area.

Abstract:

A high COF material is applied to palm and a low COF material is applied to inner finger surfaces. The fingers are still used to grasp the elongated article, but the shear pulling force on the fingers is reduced and the shear pulling force on the palm is increased. In one embodiment, the underlying glove material on the palm and finger grasping surfaces is a synthetic leather material, the high COF material on the palm is a silicone rubber material deposited on the synthetic leather material and the low COF material on the inner finger surfaces is a ballistic material sewn onto the synthetic leather material, for example, an aramid fiber material sold under the trademark Kevlar.
