Abstract:

A circuit and computer implemented method tunes an RF switching power amplifier circuit for an antenna by receiving a measurement of reflected RF signal from the antenna, receiving a measurement of current provided to the circuit from a power source, receiving a measurement of RF power provided to the antenna, adjusting a tunable antenna circuit responsive to the measurement of reflected RF signal, and adjusting a first capacitor capacitance value and a second capacitor capacitance value of a waveform shaping circuit in response to the received measurement of current and RF power.

Abstract:

Methods, devices, and systems for detecting incapacitation and location using nodes are described herein. One system for detecting incapacitation and location using nodes can include an impact sensor, and a node including a memory and a processor to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to determine an incapacitating event has occurred via the impact sensor, determine a location of the node using a plurality of nodes, where the plurality of nodes include the node, and transmit the incapacitating event and the location of the node to an external server.

A location system includes multiple master nodes located at corners of a coverage area. At least two master nodes are located on one edge of the coverage area and receive signals from a slave node within the coverage area. One or more embodiments include a tuner comprising a directional coupler connected between a frequency generator and a tuning cap to receive reflections on a transmit line of the directional coupler, and a controller coupled to the directional coupler and the tuning cap to monitor the reflections on the transmit line and to adjust the tuning cap based on the monitored reflections on the transmit line.
