A graduate of Rutgers University, Christine spent a few years working as a Compensation Analyst before accepting a two year assignment with the Peace Corps, teaching English in Cape Verde, Africa where she learned to speak Portuguese and Creole. Upon her return, Christine enrolled in a six month intensive pastry program at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, which she utilizes to make delicious baked goods for family and friends. She returned to the corporate world in 2009 to work for one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the country. Over the past ten years, she has traveled to five continents, immersing herself in the culture and cuisine of every community.
