Abstract:
A nebulizer which has an insertable container and a counter device for counting operations of the nebulizer, and is opened for replacing the container. A securing device having locking portions which are forced apart is provided to prevent reconnection of an already used container. The nebulizer has an indicator for showing the current container number and/or symbols indicating the need container replacement. The indicator is driven by the force of an internal spring. The indicator member also controls a lock of the container for locking the container against further actuation. The lock is reset after container replacement.

Abstract:
A sample container and filtration apparatus is described comprising a sealable sample container and a surface that is configured to interface with a vacuum base. When the surface interfaces with the vacuum base, a portion of the sample container is broached, providing a pathway for the vacuum source to pull the sample therethrough. In exemplary embodiments, the broachable portion of the sample container comprises an actuating valve. The method for using the sample container and filtration apparatus significantly reduces the possibility of contamination of the sample and during the sample testing procedure relative to the conventional devices and procedures, provides more consistent and reliable test results, and significantly reduces the number of preparation and testing steps for the testing procedure.

Abstract:
A method of retrofitting an existing water supply system including identifying a water usage device(s) in the existing water supply system suitable for retrofitting; retrofitting each identified water usage device with a new water usage device adapted to communicate water usage parameters of the existing water supply system when an elapsed time of a water usage event exceeds a preset limit, and cease communicating water usage parameters after completion and/or interruption of the water usage event; and thereafter operating the retrofitted water supply system.
One embodiment includes a dispenser device and container for mixing a chemical concentrate and a diluent to produce a diluted mixture. The dispenser device may include a housing, a slide, and an eductor. The container holds the chemical concentrate. The dispenser device communicates with the chemical concentrate and with the diluent.
