Abstract:
A dental implant assembly () including a core body () for engaging a tooth-replicating device (). The core body () is disposed in an anchor body (), and a screw cap body () is disposed about the outer attachment surface () of the anchor body (). The screw cap body () engages the bone () of a person to support the dental implant assembly () and holds the core body () and the anchor body () together.

Abstract:
A dental implant assembly () including an anchor () and a support ring () disposed about the anchor () and with a ring top end () engaging the bottom of the tooth-replicating device () to receive an impact force and to transfer the impact force to the bone () of a human. The anchor () is made of a first material being fracturable in response to a predetermined force and the support ring () is made of a second material being fracturable only in response to a force greater than the predetermined force for avoiding fracture of the anchor ().

Abstract:
A dental implant assembly that can be attached to a bone of a person. The dental implant assembly includes an anchor adapted for attachment to the bone and an insert attached to the anchor. The insert is adapted for attachment to a tooth-replacing device having an occlusal bearing surface. The insert is adapted to transfer force from the bearing surface to the anchor such that the tooth-replacing device is able to resiliently move relative to the anchor. Also, at least one of the anchor and the insert is at least partially made out of a polymeric material. In one embodiment, the insert includes a resilient adhesive layer.

Abstract:
A dental implant assembly that can be attached to a bone of a person. The implant assembly includes an anchor adapted for attachment to the bone. The anchor is also adapted for attachment to a tooth-replacing device. The anchor is at least partially made out of a polymeric material.
A dental implant assembly () for transferring forces from a tooth replicating device () to a bone () of a person. The implant () has an exterior surface () defining an abutment portion () for engaging the tooth replicating device () to receive the forces and a lower portion () axially below the abutment portion () for engaging the bone (). A collar () is disposed about and extends radially outwardly from the lower portion () for engaging the bone () and for transferring the forces from the implant () to the bone (). The implant () defines an inner pocket () extending along the axis (A), and a rod () is disposed in the inner pocket () of the implant () and extends along the axis (A) between the lower and abutment portions () for transferring the forces received by the abutment portion () to the collar () disposed about the lower portion ().
A separator device to separate a plurality of articles in a sterilization chamber has a proximal end, a distal end, and a body portion therebetween. The body portion has a thickness with a plurality of openings therein through which a sterilizing medium circulates. The body portion is interposed between and maintains separation between layers of articles located within the sterilization chamber. The separation maintained between the layers facilitates circulation of the sterilizing medium between the layers and to each of the plurality of articles being sterilized.
The preferred embodiment consists primarily of an anchor for implantation into the patient's crestal bone or other suitable bony structure, an insert which is flexibly received within the anchor and would be mounted so as to allow modulation of forces being transferred from the insert to the anchor. The insert would also act as a platform for mounting the prosthetic or artificial tooth. The prosthesis allows elastic movement of the artificial tooth along three orthogonal axes.
