Abstract:

A method and apparatus for encrypting information. In one embodiment, a method for encrypting information includes obtaining a value A from an array having a plurality of values and determining a value B based on the value A in a first pipeline stage. In a second pipeline stage, a value V may be determined from the value A and the value B. The value V may then be exclusive ORed (XORed) with a data value that forms a portion of the information being encrypted. A first logic unit may include the first pipeline stage, while a second logic unit may include the second pipeline stage. The array may be stored in a plurality of flip-flops in one embodiment, or may be stored in one or more register files in a second embodiment. The method and apparatus may be used for decrypting information as well.

An execution unit adapted to perform at least a portion of the Data Encryption Standard. The execution unit includes a Left Half input; a Key input; and a Table input. The execution unit also includes a first group of transistors configured to receive the Table input, perform a table look-up, and output data. The execution unit further includes a first exclusive-or operator having two inputs and an output. The first exclusive-or operator is configured to receive the Left Half input and the Key input. The execution unit also includes a second exclusive-or operator having two inputs and an output. The second exclusive-or operator is configured to receive the data output by the first group of transistors and to receive the output of the first exclusive-or operator. The execution unit also includes a third exclusive-or operator having two inputs and an output. Abstract:

Technology for controlling non-uniformity in the Bfield includes selecting the phase, magnitude, frequency, time, or spatial relationship among various elements of a multi-channel excitation coil in order to control the radio frequency (RF) power emanating from the coil antenna elements. Non-uniformity can be used to steer a constructively interfering Bfield node to spatially correlate with an anatomic region of interest. A convex (quadratically constrained quadratic problem) formulation of the Blocalization problem can be used to select parameters for exciting the coil. Localization can be used in simulated Finite Difference Time Domain Bfield human head distributions and human head phantom measurement.

Abstract:

A polymeric composition in pellet form comprising a tacky hot melt composition, comprising a) from about 5% by weight to about 90% by weight of a thermoplastic polymer, b) from about 0% by weight to about 65% by weight of a tackifying resin, c) from about 0% to about 50% by weight of a plasticizer, d) up to about 2% by weight of an antioxidant, and a pelletizing aid, wherein the tacky hot melt composition has some minimum amount of tackifier or plasticizer and is a pressure sensitive adhesive having a storage modulus, G', at about 25. degree. C. , of less than about 5. times. 10. sup. 6 dynes/cm. sup. 2, and each pellet has a substantially tack-free surface. This invention further discloses a polymeric composition in pellet form suitable for molding articles. The composition comprises a tacky hot melt composition comprising at least one high molecular weight triblock copolymer of the general configuration A-B-A and a plasticizer and a pelletizing aid. The pelletizing aid substantially surrounds the tacky composition such that the molded articles are substantially free from surface tack.

Abstract:

This invention relates to a hot melt adhesive composition in pellet form. The hot melt adhesive composition is pressure sensitive, having a storage modulus, G', at 25. degree. C. , of less than about 5. times. 10. sup. 6 dynes/cm. sup. 2. The pellets are coated with a pelletizing aid on the surface at a concentration preferably ranging from about 1 wt-% to about 30 wt-%. The pelletizing aid is a hot melt adhesive component or a material which does not substantially adversely affect the adhesive properties. The pellets are free-flowing and have a substantially tack-free surface.
