Abstract:

A resource set comprising a set of resources may be provided to the public. It may be desirable to associate with the resources a set of public names, such as friendly URLs that may be more memorable, may indicate to users the type of resource so named, and may promote indexing of the resources by search engines. A name hierarchy (such as a portion of a file system) may store at least one reference that associates a public name with a resource. A name hierarchy navigation logic may facilitate navigation through the name hierarchy, and may specify a particular location within the name hierarchy where a reference associated with the public name is to be stored. This manner of associating public names with resources may promote the scalability and efficiency in associating public names with resources and in retrieving a resource associated with a particular public name.

Abstract:

Techniques to provide a hybrid federated search are described. A web server may receive a search query from a client and select an immediate search source to perform the search. A script may be generated that causes the client to re-send the search query for a delayed search source. The script may execute on the client when the client displays the results from the immediate search source. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract:

The embodiments of the tracking device for the ultrasound imaging diagnostic apparatus include a predetermined combination of an ultrasound probe, an operator and a patient to be tracked, a space measuring device for measuring at least distance and angle of the probe based upon emitted electromagnetic radiation that is emitted towards the probe and reflected electromagnetic radiation that is reflected from the probe; and a processing device connected to the space measuring device for determining a change in distance and angle of the probe in space based upon on the emitted electromagnetic radiation and the reflected electromagnetic radiation. The space measuring device is used to track movement in a combination of a probe, a patient and an operator.

Abstract:

An ultrasound probe and corresponding method of obtaining motion related data for the ultrasound probe. The probe including a housing, a transducer located inside said housing having transducer elements in a predetermined configuration that generates ultrasound, transmits the generated ultrasound towards an object, and receives echoes that have been reflected from the object, a motion sensing device having a fixed position with respect to said housing and including a sensor configured to generate a movement signal indicative of at least one type of movement of the ultrasound probe, and processing circuitry configured to generate images from the echoes received by the transducer and to correct the generated images by image correlation based on the generated movement signal.
