Abstract:

A hand tool includes a head that is adjustable to a plurality of positions. The head is pivotally mounted to a tool body at a pivot axis. A bearing structure is attached at the pivot axis by a hub or fastener, about which the head may be adjusted. An actuator is positioned between the body and the head and acts to lock the head in a predetermined position with respect to the tool body. A plurality of radial slots are provided on a cavity or a bearing structure and receive the actuator in order to lock the tool head in a predetermined position relative to the tool body. The adjustable head allows for the tool to be manipulated to engage fasteners in hard to reach areas and also allow an operator to apply extra torque to the fastener.

Abstract:

An apparatus harvests latent energy and water by adiabatically decompressing a controlled volume of atmospheric air to lower its pressure and temperature below the saturation point of included water vapor, thus causing the water vapor to change state to nonvaporous water and release to the decompressed air thermal energy associated with the change of state. The apparatus then extracts the nonvaporous water, leaving the released thermal energy in the decompressed air. The apparatus then recompresses the decompressed air, which will have a resulting temperature, and thus a thermal energy, greater than those of the initially ingested air, and harvests the recompressed air and its increased thermal energy. The apparatus can also humidify and warm atmospheric air before it is ingested to increase appreciably the amount of harvested thermal energy.

A composition comprising a combination of N-Phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester and cannabidiol for oral administration to humans and other animals and a method for administering said composition are described. The composition provides synergistic nootropic benefits to the user, resulting in enhanced cognitive functions, such as increased focus, creativity, memory recall, and memory consolidation, among other cognitive functions. The composition generally does not cause side effects in the users and generally does not cause the user to develop tolerance to its nootropic effects. The composition optionally comprises a compound containing choline or a choline prodrug to supply choline to the brain of the user for the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, and may also optionally comprise caffeine.

Abstract:

A composition comprising a combination of sodium beta-hydroxybutyrate, magnesium beta-hydroxybutyrate, potassium beta-hydroxybutyrate, calcium beta-hydroxybutyrate, and at least one ketone ester for oral administration to humans and other animals, as well as a method for administering said composition for enhanced physical or cognitive capabilities, physical endurance, or post-exercise recovery are described. The composition concurrently provides ketone bodies, which raise the level of ketone bodies in the bloodstream and induce ketosis (>0.5 mM of ketone bodies in the bloodstream) and provide an alternative energy source to glycogen during physical activity. The composition generally does not cause side effects or discomfort in the user. The composition may optionally comprise at least one medium-chain triglyceride (MCT).
