Abstract:

A human body is three-dimensionally reproduced to create a computer-rendered model. The model is dynamically manipulable to adjust or customize the dimensions of the model to specified measurements. Computer renderings of garments are stored in the computer. The model may be âclothedâ with one or more garments, the representation of a garment being accurately adjusted to reflect its fit on a model of the models particular dimensions. The computer will accurately represent the specific dimensions of the items of clothing in relation to the customized dimensions of the virtual mannequin. The virtual mannequin may be rotated and may be animated to thereby model the clothing and observe the interaction of the clothing with the environment. Once satisfied to the accuracy/appropriateness of the clothing, the computer can output appropriate dimensional, color and related coordinates.

Abstract:

A motion sensing device is embedded in a firearm. A processor in the firearm senses the pattern of motion of the firearm, and on sensing a specified sequence of motions, the processor permits operation of the firearm. The operator would move the firearm in a prescribed fashion to “unlock the gun. ” For example, the operator might trace out his or her initials with the muzzle of a pistol. Unlocking would stay valid until the operator released the gun handle or squeezed extra hard on the handle.

Abstract:

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for preventing and/or discouraging access by children and/or other persons to restricted content and/or other information. Some users may have different hearing and may be able to hear sounds at different, for example higher, frequencies than other users. Users may also wish to discourage and/or prevent other users from consuming restricted content. A sound output at a high frequency may be used to disrupt the viewing experience of a user that is not permitted to consume restricted content. The high frequency sound may cause the user that is not permitted to consume restricted content to leave an environment where the content item is output. The high frequency sound may be inaudible to users that are permitted to consume restricted content. The high-frequency sound may discourage and/or prevent some users from consuming restricted content without disrupting the user experience of other users.
