About:
I am the grandson of a Greek immigrant that made a lasting mark in this community as a long-time restaurant owner from the 1920s until the 1950s. I take great pride when someone says, "You don't know me, but your grandfather gave me a job when I was down and out." That has happened dozens of times! My father, Charlie, is a retired audiologist and worked at Sears for over 20 years. He has been a cancer suvivor since 1993 and we thank the Lord every day for the great folks at Duke Medical Center. Another hospital, in Tennessee, had given my dad less than 2 years to live in 1993 and proposed a radical surgery. Duke was able to zap the tumor on the base of his tongue with a clinical trial program that involved intense radiation. I am so fortunate in so many ways. For whatever reason, I have always been "a people person" and love helping someone find the right place to call home. That is an important part of my heritage. I also try and put myself in the buyer's shoes, especially if they are moving here from another state. It is a complicated and often stressful process. My role is to reduce that as much as possible, to eliminate surprises and to use my knowledge and expertise to help get the very best deal possible.
