Interests:

I am passionate about Sailing. When I'm not sailing I hike, and recently have taken up gardening. There is something so therapeutic about gardening. Maybe it's the connection with the earth. On an intellectual level I am fascinated by the human body from a health perspective. I have over the past few years been studying Traditional Chinese Medicine. I find it fascinating how whole foods affect the body, and particularly how immediate the response is after having eaten the food item. For instance, you wake up one morning and discover you skin is a bit dry, so you eat an avocado. Or in mid day when the temperature hits 95, you squeeze lemon into water to reduce your core body temperature. Fascinating stuff, and a subject I'm always eager to share with others. Wouldn't it be great if we could depend less on doctors, and use food to resolve our health issues.
