2001-present Real Estate Agent: Buying and selling homes involves understanding a client’s needs and wants, market knowledge, negotiations, inspections & disclosures, legal & financial issues, and processing a great deal of paperwork. When clients hire me to represent them in their real estate transactions, they not only get an experienced Realtor®, but also a counselor, a negotiator, a project coordinator, and a business administrator. I’m also a member of both Nevada County and Placer County Multiple Listing Services (MLS). In addition, I successfully completed the program for the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation offered by the National Association of Realtors as well as the ‘Mature Moves’ course offered by Century 21. Prior to 2001 I began my 30+ years of business experience as a secretary and over time moved into managerial and administrative positions. Eventually, I had my own business doing bookkeeping/secretarial work as an outside contractor. I learned very quickly how to fine-tune my innate organization skills, and I discovered that I enjoy paperwork and attention to detail. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I am also a California-licensed psychotherapist.
