About:
I have had the pleasure of owning a weekend lake house at Cedar Creek for many years. In 2009, I finally made it my “home!” I grew up in Midland, Texas: football, football and more football. I loved it but couldn’t wait to get to a big city. After graduating from The University Texas at Austin, I started a 25 year career in retail. I truly can say, “I loved my job!” From a buyer at Foley’s in Houston, to District Manager at Ann Taylor in San Diego and finally a Vice-President of Brookstone over the entire west coast. My career has allowed me to live in some of the prettiest places in the US. Breathtaking views and water have always been important to me. Many friends have questioned my decision to choose Gun Barrel City over Laguna Beach, however, after their first view of the sunset from my back porch – enough said. Yes, everything is bigger in Texas. While a few questioned where I chose to build my second career as a Realtor, no one questioned why a Realtor. I have always had a passion for real estate. In the late eighties and early nineties, I lived in and staged homes for sale way before anyone could even spell HGTV. After buying and selling houses in the LA market, (and getting out just in time) I transferred back to Texas! My retail career also helped me prepare for life as a Realtor. My drive to find profitable locations for new stores and ability to negotiate extended leases for existing store locations helped my Region drive top revenue for the entire company. Now living in my 10th home, I truly understand both sides of the business. There is nothing better than to get to live and work where you love. Let me share my passion of Cedar Creek Lake with you. A knowledgeable agent is the key to selling your house at the right time and price. And, for the buyer, I will help you find your perfect sunset.
