How it all began, Mark von Kaenel and I (one of my best friends since our junior year of high school) both began in real estate over 22 years ago. Mark took the broker representative route throughout the Bay Area; while I took the investment development route. I have turned over countless number of properties (via house flipping) throughout the Bay Area, as well as, the Lake Tahoe area. I still have an extensive fleet of rental properties including: homes, apartment complexes, commercial holdings and a 400 acre ranch. I have just joined forces with Keller Williams Realty in Los Gatos just across the street from the High School. Keller Williams is the #1 leader throughout the United States in real estate transactions. I will still be working out of the corporate office on Los Gatos Blvd. In the future we are planning to open an office in Capitola or Aptos. I love what I do and feel honored to be able to help my clients with each of their real estate needs, no matter what the situation may be. When it comes to negotiating, most agents on the opposing side are a little intimidated by our aggressive methods. In my opinion, it may not be war in real estate transactions, but every deal that I am able to save my clients money on, is how I have earned my reputation today as a real estate agent. I have been taught by some of the masters when it comes to negotiating, including my own grandfather who started with just an apple cart during the Great Depression. He ran a pawn shop in East St. Louis and ended up moving our family to California and owning several acres on the El Camino Real in the Santa Clara Valley, which he developed into a retail shopping center, automotive center, adult book store, a candy store and apartment complexes. He also taught me about the value of a dollar and to always give 110%. My team and I have gathered a wealth of knowledge in the real estate industry and consider ourselves to be seasoned real estate professionals.
